For 18 years of age, these kids have got something special. The vocals are much more mature sounding that your typical barely legal smoking age voice. They're obviously incredibly tight and the production on this song is spot on. However, the song feels a little tritely melodramatic - not that this is necessarily a bad thing. I'm sure people said the same thing about The Velvet Underground when their sound was developing. But this is surely a band to keep one's eye on...
Panda = Happy feel-good beats yet not syrup-ey or sickingly sweet. It's the perfect mix of bop your head crunchiness and tap your feet poprock. And these guys are in their teens! Keep an eye on them.
The kind of music you can chill to, while cruisin' in your car, but makes you think of life at the same time. How many bands can do this!? Not many. Not many at all. Well done.
This band has some of the best lyrics ive heard in a while. I love following the story. That is all. Definately worth a trip down to Target. Soon i'll be rockin out to these dudes in my car. tThanks for the music.
Panda is the classic case study of DIY Revisited. With a great sound and perfect demographic profile, you have the edge and energy to work the web to make it all happen.
